Scholarship's offered by Pinehurst Surgical
Pinehurst Surgical will provide, through Sandhills Community College the following scholarships:
The Founders Award Scholarship - The purpose of the Pinehurst Surgical Founders Award Scholarship Program at Sandhills Community College should be to provide financial support to students at SCC who demonstrate academic promise and financial need. To qualify students must be enrolled in the Nursing or Health Sciences Curriculum.
Health Science & Nursing Scholarship - To provide financial support to student enrolled in the Nursing or Health Sciences Curriculum.
William F. Hollister Award - To provide financial support to student in Surgical Technology Curriculum judged to be the most outstanding graduate.
Michael T. Pishko Award - To provide financial support to a first-year Surgical Technology student, the selection is based on financial need.
These awards provide resources to meet the needs to students in the Nursing and the Health Sciences Programs. Students who receive these awards are selected by Sandhills Community College based on the following criteria: academic performance which demonstrated good potential for success; demonstrated care and concern for patients during clinical training; and financial need.
