An opportunity to serve: Pinehurst Surgical Guest Service Volunteers are caring individuals who want to help others, are responsible and mature, and comply with our organization's guidelines. Energetic volunteers of all ages and skills are needed. Volunteers are generally asked to give a minimum of four hours a week for at least six months. There are many different volunteer roles to fit individual time schedules, abilities and interests. Guest Service Volunteers may work directly with patients or choose work behind the scenes. By dedicating time to Pinehurst Surgical, you will become part of a unique group which is committed to offering a personal and compassionate approach to the delivery of healthcare. Students are placed in a variety of assignments and volunteer throughout the academic year. Students considering a career in health care will find volunteer experience to be helpful in solidifying career choices. The Summer College Volunteer Program is an exciting opportunity for students who are able to volunteer for the summer months only. Many positions are available in both direct patient contact and indirect patient support areas. Spaces are limited, however.
