Sports medicine is a subspecialty of orthopaedics which deals with the treatment and preventive care of athletes, both amateur and professional. This includes the "weekend warriors" and others trying to maintain an active lifestyle. 

The sports medicine "team" includes specialty orthopaedic surgeons, athletic trainers, physical therapists, coaches, other personnel, and of course, the athlete.  Our comprehensive sports medicine program offers care for athletes of all ages and skill levels.
